Nuclear structure of 130Te from inelastic neutron scattering and shell model analysis

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 130Te(n, n'), E=1.86-3.34, 3.5 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, γ(θ), γγ-coin, excitation functions. 130Te; deduced levels, J, π, δ, γ-ray branching ratios, multipolarities, δ, T1/2 of levels, B(E2), B(M1), B(E1). T1/2 extracted by Doppler shift attenuation method. Analysis of excitation functions by statistical model calculations. Comparison to large-scale shell model calculations using the code NuShellX@MSU with a jj55 model space and the sn100 and GCN50:82 interactions. Kumar-Cline sum rules used to evaluate rotational invariants. Comparison to previous experimental data.

Lifetimes in 124Te: Examining critical-point symmetry in the Te nuclei

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 124Te(n, n'γ), E=2.2-3.3 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ-coin, γ(θ), relative γ-ray production σ(E), level half-lives by DSAM at University of Kentucky Accelerator Laboratory. 124Te; deduced levels, J, π, γ-ray branching ratios, multipolarities, mixing ratios, B(M1), B(E1), B(E2). Comparison of level half-lives with previous experimental results. 122,124,126Te; comparison of experimental B(E2) values with E(5) and β4 potential critical-point symmetry model calculations.

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 169Tm(n, 3n), 58Ni, 90Zr, 169Tm(n, 2n), 94Zr(n, α), E=17.35, 18.34, 19.33, 20.32, 21.31 MeV, [quasimonoenergetic neutrons from 2H(d, n), E=15.0-19.2 at TUNL tandem Van de Graaff accelerator]; measured neutron spectra, Eγ, Iγ, σ(E) by activation method. Comparison with previous experimental data, compiled data in EXFOR database and evaluated data in ENDF database. Relevance to measurement of yield of reaction-in-flight neutrons at the LLNL National Ignition Facility (NIF).

RADIOACTIVITY 167Tm(EC)[from 165Ho(α, 2n), E=29 MeV at LBNL cyclotron facility]; measured Eγ, Iγ, I(x rays), source activity; deduced branching ratios of 207.8-keV and 531.5-keV γ rays. Comparison with previous experimental values and evaluated data.
