Comparative measurement of prompt fission γ-ray emission from fast-neutron-induced fission of ²³⁵U and ²³⁸U

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ²³⁵U(n, F), E=1.73 MeV; ²³⁸U(n, F), E=2.07 MeV; measured prompt fission γ-ray (PFG) spectra using fast-neutron source LICORNE at the ALTO facility of the IPN-Orsay; deduced γ-multiplicity, total and average radiation energy, average photon energies. Monte Carlo N-particle (MCNP) simulations of all the components of the experimental setup.
