Lifetime measurements of excited states in 57Mn
NUCLEAR REACTIONS 55Mn(18O, 16O)57Mn, E=38 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, γ(θ), particleγ-coin. 57Mn; deduced T1/2 of the first 9/2- and 11/2- excited states, B(M1), B(E2). 51,53,55,57,59,61Mn; calculated B(M1), B(E2). 47,49,51,53,55,57Sc, 49,51,53,55,57,59V, 53,55,57,59,61,63Co; calculated B(E2). Experimental values for T1/2 obtained with Doppler-shift attenuation method. Shell-model calculations with GXPF1A and KB3G interactions. Setup of 11 HPGe detectors positioned in 2 rings and combined with six solar-cell particle detectors at FN tandem accelerator (Institute for Nuclear Physics, University of Cologne).
