Investigation of low-lying excited states in 214Po and 214Bi
RADIOACTIVITY 214Pb, 214Bi(β-) [from 226Ra(α)]; measured decay products, Eγ, Iγ; deduced γ-ray energies, level T1/2 using the fast-timing method in combination with the Cologne HORUS and Cologne CATHEDRAL spectrometers, B(E2), B(M1). Comparison with KHPE large-scale shell model calculations using a multi-j model space. The Cologne HORUS (High efficiency Observatory for γ-Ray Unique Spectroscopy) setup, at the Cologne CATHEDRAL (Cologne Coincidence detector Array at the Tandem accelerator for High Efficiency Doppler shift Recoil and LaBr fast-timing measurements) setup at the Institut fur Kernphysik (IKP) at the University of Cologne.
