NUCLEAR REACTIONS Pb(32Mg, 32Mg'), E=195 MeV/nucleon, [32Mg secondary beam from 9Be(48Ca, X), E=345 MeV/nucleon primary reaction]; measured Eγ, Iγ, scattered 32Mg spectra, (32Mg)γ-coin, angular distributions, Coulomb excitation yield using BigRIPS and ZeroDegree spectrometers, and DALI2 array at RIBF-RIKEN facility, 32Mg; deduced first 2+ level, B(E2). Comparison with coupled-channel calculation and with previous experimental values. Discussed usefulness of the Coulomb excitation method for extracting B(E2) values at high incident energies.
