β-delayed fission and α decay of ¹⁹⁶At

RADIOACTIVITY ¹⁹⁶At, ¹⁹⁶Po(α); ¹⁹⁶At(EC), (β⁺), (β⁺F), [high purity ¹⁹⁶At beam from U(p, X), E=1.4 GeV using HRS and GPS separators with RILIS at ISOLDE-CERN facility]; measured Eα, Iα, Eγ, Iγ, αγ-coin, fission-fragment energies, (fission fragment)(fission fragment)-coin, half-lives of decays of ¹⁹⁶At and ¹⁹⁶Po; deduced α- and β-decay and β-delayed fission branching ratios of ¹⁹⁶At, reduced α-decay widths, symmetric and asymmetric fission-fragment mass distributions of the daughter isotope ¹⁹⁶Po. ¹⁹²Bi; deduced levels, J, π, conversion coefficients, multipolarities, mixing ratio, configurations. Comparison with previous experimental values. ¹⁹²Bi, ^199,200,201At, ²⁰²Rn; observed α from daughter activity ¹⁹²Bi and other contaminants.
