β-delayed fission and α decay of 196At

RADIOACTIVITY 196At, 196Po(α); 196At(EC), (β+), (β+F), [high purity 196At beam from U(p, X), E=1.4 GeV using HRS and GPS separators with RILIS at ISOLDE-CERN facility]; measured Eα, Iα, Eγ, Iγ, αγ-coin, fission-fragment energies, (fission fragment)(fission fragment)-coin, half-lives of decays of 196At and 196Po; deduced α- and β-decay and β-delayed fission branching ratios of 196At, reduced α-decay widths, symmetric and asymmetric fission-fragment mass distributions of the daughter isotope 196Po. 192Bi; deduced levels, J, π, conversion coefficients, multipolarities, mixing ratio, configurations. Comparison with previous experimental values. 192Bi, 199,200,201At, 202Rn; observed α from daughter activity 192Bi and other contaminants.
