Abstract

The half-lives of 20 neutron-rich nuclei with Z=2730 have been measured at the RIBF, including five new half-lives of Co76(21.74.9+6.5ms), Co77(13.04.3+7.2ms), Ni79(43.07.5+8.6ms), Ni80(23.917.2+26.0ms), and Cu81(73.2±6.8ms). In addition, the half-lives of Co7375, Ni7478, Cu7880, and Zn8082 were determined with higher precision than previous works. Based on these new results, a systematic study of the β-decay half-lives has been carried out, which suggests a sizable magicity for both the proton number Z=28 and the neutron number N=50 in Ni78.
