Abstract
The main aim of this work is to investigate elastic 16O + 12C and 16O + 16O scattering and analyze the effect produced by elastic and inelastic transfer and exchange channels on the elastic scattering cross section. It is shown that considering the exit channel coupling improves the theoretical description of the cross section in the region of wide angles.
