Abstract

The properties of secondary minima with high or super deformations in Ni, Cu and Zn isotopes near β stability are investigated in the relativistic mean-field theory. The stability of the secondary minima against proton and neutron emissions is revealed for these nuclei. The proton emission may possibly occur at secondary minima in Cu isotopes with A61 for the predicted large emission energy. A more possible candidate for proton emission is predicted to be Zn59 due to its very large emission energy.
