Multipole mixtures in γ transitions accompanying the (n, n′γ) reaction on 162Dy

Abstract

By using a beam of fast reactor neutrons, the angular distributions of gamma radiation from the (n,n′γ) reaction on 162Dy are measured with respect to the axis of this beam. The values of the multipole-mixing parameter δ are found for many gamma transitions between levels whose spins and parities are known.
