Low-spin states of 14764 Gd83 in the β-decay of 147gTb

Abstract

Spectra of γ-rays, internal conversion electrons and γ−γ-coincidences in the β-decay of the isomeric 1/2+, 1.6 h, 147Tb state are studied using semiconductor detectors. More than one hundred of new gamma-transitions are observed. Multipolarities of some gamma-transitions with energy up to 2MeV are established. The proposed decay scheme of 147Tb, 1.6 h is discussed in framework of the shell model.
