Abstract

In beam γ-ray spectroscopic studies of Mo91 (up to 33/2ħ, 6 MeV) and Nb89 (up to 29/2ħ, 6.5 MeV) are reported using fusion evaporation reactions with Si28, Si30 beams and enriched target of Zn66. The level schemes are well described by spherical shell-model calculations involving neutrons and protons in 1g9/2 and 2p1/2 orbitals. The experimentally determined transition probabilities are in reasonable agreement with single particle transition probabilities (Weisskopf estimates).
