Abstract
Particle emission following absorption on at =50, 100, 150, and 200 MeV was studied with a large-solid-angle detector. Evidence is found for a three-nucleon-absorption mode, which takes place predominantly on pnn triplets. This mode increases in importance from about a quarter of the absorption cross section at 50 MeV to about one-half at 200 MeV.
