Abstract
Inner bremsstrahlung (IB) accompanying the beta --decay of 63Ni was measured using a hyperpure germanium low energy photon spectrometer (LEPS) in a good geometry employing a magnetic deflection method in the range 10-60 keV. The observed experimental spectrum after unfolding was compared wit the theoretical calculations of Knipp, Uhlenbeck an Bloch, Lewis and Ford and Ford and Martin. The measured spectral distribution was found to be close to KUB in the energy range 12-45 keV. The distribution beyond 45 keV takes a positive deviation from all the three theories. It may also be pointed out that the IB from this isotope has not been studied earlier and as such the results are considered new.
