Abstract

Comparisons are made between experiment and theory for the bremsstrahlung cross-section differential in photon-emission angle and energy for incident electrons of 50, 75, and 100 keV, for target elements of C, Al, Cu, Y, Ag, Te, Tb, Au, Bi, and U for photons radiated at 90°. The primary results of this work provide a test of the photon-energy dependence of the doubly differential cross section to an accuracy of 3%. Results for the absolute cross section with an accuracy of 22% are also presented.
