Spectroscopic properties of highly excited states

Abstract

Numerical calculations based on the continuum shell model with a unified description of long-lived and short-lived resonance states are performed for O16. The results show that the spectroscopic properties of the individual states depend on the degree of overlapping with other resonance states.
