Microscopic calculations of knockout reactions induced by Li6

Abstract

Microscopic calculations of the inelastic Si28(Li6,Li6) reaction at Elab=156 MeV are performed by considering knockout as the reaction mechanism. It is shown that such calculations explain the high energy parts of the spectra satisfactorily, but tend to underestimate significantly the low energy tail of the spectra.
