Abstract

The experimental strengths extracted from several one neutron pickup and stripping reactions on the Pt isotopes are compared to predictions derived in the framework of the multi-j supersymmetry model. It appears that the model describes quite reasonably the experimental results for the reactions involving Pt195. However, due to a clear change of structure between Pt195 and Pt197, an appreciable breaking is observed for the reactions involving Pt197.
