Abstract

Inclusive energy spectra of light charged particles from the Li6 + He3, Be9+p, and Be9 + He3 reactions have been measured using beams of 30 to 75 MeV. The continuum parts have been studied in the framework of phase space calculations. The influence of other reaction mechanisms, such as final state interactions, sequential processes, and quasifree reactions is evaluated. We deduce the nontrivial angular dependence of the various phase spaces.

NUCLEAR REACTIONS Li6 + He3 at Elab=40 MeV; Be9+p at Elab=45 MeV; Be9 + He3, Elab=30, 50, 75 MeV; measured charged light particle spectra 1Z4, 1A9; interpretation of inclusive spectra with phase space model; comparison with other models; deduced angular dependence of various exit channels.
