Abstract
Excitation functions for the yields of eight residual nuclides from the + reaction have been measured over the range MeV using -ray techniques. Weak oscillatory structure in the fusion-evaporation yield is observed, with maxima near MeV. Two strong anomalies in the inelastic scattering and -transfer channels have been located at MeV. These structures have properties similar to those of characteristic resonances in other light systems. The MeV resonance occurs at the same excitation energy as a similar resonance previously observed in the + reaction yields.
NUCLEAR REACTIONS (,); MeV; measured excitation functions for the production of reaction products; observed structure at MeV; deduced critical angular momentum for fusion.
