Abstract

We have measured the cross section for the H3(p,γ)He4 reaction for incident proton energies from 8-30 MeV. The absolute 90° differential cross section below Ep=18 MeV is in reasonable agreement with previous results. Angular distributions were measured at eight energies between Ep=13 and 30 MeV. The coefficients which result from fitting these data to an expansion in Legendre polynomials are reported.

NUCLEAR REACTIONS H3(p,γ), measured σ(E,θ) from Ep=830 MeV. Obtained Legendre polynomial coefficients.
