Abstract

Decay properties of Pb194,195,196 were studied using singles and coincident γ-ray spectroscopy. Sources were produced by the 95 MeV Au197(Li6,xn) reactions. No direct evidence for the decay of a low-spin isomer of Pb195 was observed. Several new levels were observed in Tl195,196, and are interpreted in terms of a rotational model.

RADIOACTIVITY Pb194,195,196 [from Au197(Li6,xn), E=95 MeV]. Measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ coin; deduced logft. Pbm194,195,196 deduced t12. Tl194,195,196 deduced levels, J, π, Nilsson configurations. Ge(Li) detectors.
