Abstract

The electric monople (E0) transition from the first excited 0+ state at 943.67 keV in Ru102 is observed from the internal conversion electron studies. The dimensionless ratio of the E0 to E2 transition probabilities, X(E0E2), is deduced to be 0.013±0.002. The monopole moment ρ(E0) is estimated as 0.092.

RADIOACTIVITY Rh102 [from Ru102(p,n)]; measured Ece, Ice, Eγ, Iγ. Rh102 deduced branching ratio B(E0)B(E2), monopole moment ρ(E0).
