Abstract

Fusion excitation functions have been calculated for the O16+Al27 and O16+Mg24 collisions using the time-dependent Hartree-Fock theory. The theoretical results are in good agreement with experiment and predict the existence of a lower angular momentum limit to fusion for Elab100 MeV.
