Abstract

In O16(t,p) at Et=15 MeV, sixteen angular distributions were measured for states to Ex=7.1 MeV. Comparison with distorted-wave Born approximation calculations using empirical wave functions has been made, enabling extraction of absolute normalizations. Twenty-one higher-lying levels have had their excitation energies determined.

NUCLEAR REACTIONS O16(t,p)O18; E=15 MeV; measured σ(Ep,θ), θ=7.5°105°. O18 levels. DWBA microscopic analysis.
