Abstract

Elastic scattering cross sections have been measured for N14 with 144 MeV protons at laboratory angles between 5° and 58°. Optical model parameters for N14 were determined from these data, and parameters for Li6 and C12 were determined from previously existing data at 144 MeV.

NUCLEAR REACTIONS N14(p,p)N14, Ep=144 MeV; measured σ(θ); optical model analysis for N14 and existing Li6 and C12 data.
