Intermediate resonances in the inelastic scattering of C12 on O16

Abstract

The coupling interactions derived by means of the folding procedure between C12 and O16 are found to be successful in predicting the molecular resonances observed in the inelastic integrated cross sections. These resonances are studied in detail on the basis of an adiabatic potential between two nuclei.
