Abstract

Cross sections and tensor analyzing powers in dp elastic scattering, measured at 35 and 45 MeV, are used to determine the asymptotic D- to S-state ratio of the deuteron wave function. The results agree with the value determined at lower energies and provide a considerably more precise averaged value: ρD=0.0263±0.0013.
