Interpretation of the High-Energy Processes O16(γ,p0)N15 and O16(γ,n0)O15

Abstract

Calculations based on a two-nucleon (np) absorption mechanism show that the form factor of the residual nucleus plays an important role in determining the shape of the photoproduction cross section in a wide energy range 60 MeV<~Eγ<~300 MeV.
