Production of A=6 and 7 Isotopes in the α+α Reaction

Abstract

Cross sections have been measured for the production of He6, Li6, Li7, and Be7 in the α+α reaction between 61.5 and 158.2 MeV. The significance of these measurements for theories of lithium nucleosynthesis is discussed.
