Abstract

Core-excited states that were selectively excited in C12(C12,α)Ne20 are found to be also selectively excited in C12(B10,d)Ne20, though perhaps to a lesser extent.

[NUCLEAR REACTIONS C12(B10,d), E=20.0 and 20.5 MeV, measured σ(θ); compared σ for 7.42- and 7.83-MeV states.]
