Abstract

The reaction ⁷³Ge(¹⁶O,3n) at 52.0 MeV incident energy was used to populate excited states of ⁸⁶Zr. Lifetimes of several of these states were determined with the aid of the recoil-distance Doppler-shift method. The resulting gamma ray transition probabilities are discussed in connection with the existing values in other Zr isotopes.
