Abstract

The difference between the polarization and analyzing power for the reaction He3(p,n)He3 has been calculated in a 4ω model space within the framework of the generalized R-matrix method of Lane and Robson. The model calculations indicate neither the presence of f wave components nor a significant sensitivity of the PA difference to the position of the He4 levels.
