Abstract

Precision half-life measurements and branching ratio determinations have been carried out for some T=12 mirror nuclei. The following results have been obtained for the half-life and for the branching ratios: N13 (597.9 ± 0.6 s), O15 (122.23 ± 0.23 s), F17 (64.31 ± 0.09 s), Na21 [(95.8 ± 0.2)%], Mg23 [11.317 ± 0.011 s, (92.2 ± 0.2)%], Al25 [(99.16 ± 0.04)%], Si27 [(99.812 ± 0.010)%], P29 [(98.11 ± 0.30)%], S31 [2.543 ± 0.008 s, (98.89 ± 0.20)%], Cl33 (2.507 ± 0.008 s), Ar35 [1.774 ± 0.003 s, (98.0 ± 0.2)%], K37 [1.223 ± 0.008 s, (97.8 ± 0.2)%], Ca39 (0.8594 ± 0.0016 s, >99.72%).

RADIOACTIVITY N13, O15, F17, Na21, Mg23, Al25, Si27, S31, Cl33, Ar35, K37, Ca39; measured T=12, branching ratios.
