Abstract

The reaction O16(N14, N13)O17 has been studied at a bombarding energy of 79 MeV. The angular distribution for the transition to the 2s12 state in O17 showed an anomaly similar to that already reported in studies of C12(N14, N13)C13 and C12(B10, Be9)N13.
