We have calculated the pion single-charge-exchange reaction ${}_{}{}^{13}{}_{}{}^{}\mathrm{C}({\pi }^{+},{\pi }^0){}_{}{}^{13}{}_{}{}^{}\mathrm{N}$, using the distorted wave impulse approximation. We studied the influence of the off-shell effects by performing the calculation in momentum space with and without form factors in the $\pi N$ amplitude. We also studied the effect of changing the shape of the neutron distribution.
