Abstract
Shell-model calculations of isospin states of nuclei have been performed with a realistic, finite, and charge-dependent potential. The charge dependence is found to influence the reduced integrals calculated by using the separation method and the reference spectrum method. The two-body matrix elements and the energy levels show good agreement with the results of other realistic potentials, particularly with those of the Hamada-Johnston potential. An estimate of the charge dependence of the potential is also made and compared with similar results.
