Abstract

A density-dependent δ interaction is used to calculate pairing matrix elements for actinide proton and neutron orbitals. Tables of the matrix elements are given. The Seniority-one spectra of odd-mass actinides are analyzed in terms of these matrix elements. Several features of actinide spectra that cannot be understood with constant pairing matrix elements are explained with the density-dependent matrix elements.
