Abstract

The ground-state properties of N=Z even-even 2s1d shell nuclei are studied within the framework of the Hartree-Fock approximation employing the modified Yale potential and the supersoft core potential. Shell-model spaces of various sizes are used. The results are compared with similar but less sophisticated calculations published earlier.
