Abstract
Angular distributions were measured for particle groups populating low-lying levels in the reactions , , and at MeV. Excitation functions were also measured for low-lying -ray transitions in , , , , , and produced by bombardment of at MeV. The excellent agreement of Hauser-Feshbach statistical model predictions with these results indicates that the light particle production from the + interaction reflects a dominant compound nuclear interaction mechanism.
