Abstract
Measurements have been made of the asymmetric proton yields about the recoil direction using the sequential reaction for both the ground and first excited states of at a beam energy of 1.54 MeV. Measurements were made out of the reaction plane, and the results are in qualitative agreement with the predictions of a model proposed by Reimann, Martin, and Vogt. Distorted-wave Born-approximation stripping theory may also be capable of explaining the asymmetric results.
