An Investigation of the Neutron Groups from the Reactions ¹²C(d, n)¹³N, ¹⁶O(d, n)¹⁷F and ³²S(d, n)³³Cl

The experimental arrangement and method of investigation by the photographic plate technique of (d, n) reaction at a deuteron bombarding energy of 8 MeV are described. The positions are reported of some of the energy levels of the residual nuclei ¹³N, ¹⁷F and ³³Cl. It has also been possible to determine spins and parities of the corresponding levels from measurements of the angular distributions of some of the neutron groups. A comparison of the mirror nuclei ¹³C¹³N, ¹⁷O¹⁷F and ³³S³³Cl is made.
