Probing the in-medium nucleon-nucleon inelastic scattering cross section by using an energy-dependent n/p ratio

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ¹³²Sn(¹²⁴Sn, X), E=270, 400 MeV/nucleon; calculated in-medium baryon-baryon inelastic scattering cross section, and effects on the n/p ratio, energetic nucleons resonances, the ratio of charged resonances, and kinetic energy distribution of the π^-/π⁺ ratio in central collisions. Isospin-dependent Boltzmann-Uehling-Uhlenbeck (IBUU) transport model with nucleon-proton short-range correlations.
