NUCLEAR REACTIONS ¹²C, ²⁶Mg, ⁵⁴Fe, ⁵⁸Ni, ⁹⁰Zr(¹²C, ¹²B), ¹²C, ⁵⁶Fe(¹²C, ¹²N), E=840 MeV; measured σ(θ). ⁵⁶Mn deduced 1⁺ level Gamow-Teller strengths. DWBA, shell model.
