Correlated fermions in nuclei and ultracold atomic gases

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ²H(e, e'p), Q²=1.5-3.0 (GeV/c)²; calculated high-momentum tail of the deuteron momentum distribution; deduced short-range correlated different-fermion np pairs, momentum distribution of nucleons in nuclei dominated by spin-triplet pn pairs. Comparison with experimental data. ¹²C, ⁵⁶Fe, ¹⁹⁷Au(e, e'), Q²>1.5 (GeV/c)²; deduced scaling coefficient from inclusive cross sections. ⁶Li, ⁴⁰K; analyzed scattering length and Fermi momentum from measurements of ultracold two-spin-state atomic systems at finite temperature.
