Examining measuring the degree of linear photon-beam polarization in the energy range up to 100 MeV with the use of 4He(γ(pol), p)3H and 4He(γ(pol), n)3He reactions

NUCLEAR REACTIONS 4He(polarized γ, p), (polarized γ, n), E=20-110 MeV; analyzed σ(θ), ratio of the total S=1 transition cross-sections in the collinear geometry to the S=0 electric dipole transition cross section at the nucleon emission angle 90 degree. Discussed the possibility of using cross-section asymmetry for measuring the degree of the γ-beam polarization.
