Photodisintegration of ⁸⁰Se: Implications for the s-process branching at ⁷⁹Se

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ⁸⁰Se(γ, n)⁷⁹Se, E=9.91-12.7 MeV; measured neutron spectra, σ, Hauser-Feshbach analysis; deduced E1 strength functions for ⁸⁰Se and neutron capture cross section for ⁷⁹Se. Discussed implications on the abundances of ⁸⁰Kr and ⁸²Kr in the framework of phenomenological models for the s process.
