Nuclear giant quadruple resonance within a transport approach and its constraint on the nucleon effective mass

NUCLEAR STRUCTURE 208Pb; calculated strength function S(E) of isoscalar giant quadruple resonance (ISGQR), and compared with experimental data. 208Pb, 144Sm, 116Sn, 90Zr; calculated correlations between excitation energy of the ISGQRs and the isoscalar nucleon effective masses obtained by pure Vlasov calculation with 65 Skyrme interactions, and by Vlasov and full Boltzmann-Uehling-Uhlenbeck (BUU) transport calculations with different Skyrme interactions for 208Pb. Comparison with experimental data.
