NUCLEAR STRUCTURE 208Pb; calculated isoscalar giant quadruple resonance (ISGQR) and the isovector giant dipole resonance (IVGDR) using an improved isospin-dependent Boltzmann-Uehling-Uhlenbeck transport approach, with an improved isospin- and momentum-dependent interaction; deduced effects on electric-dipole polarizability to pin down isovector nuclear interactions. Comparison with experimental data.
